Taking care of your mind, creating balance

Child and adolescent psychiatry

Mental health is vitally important for our well-being. Our concept of psychiatry is human, close and professional, intervening, with your authorization, together with the psychologist, with the aim of achieving optimal improvement in your well-being and better results in your therapeutic process. The psychiatry service in our center is carried out in an online format. Online treatment guarantees that you can be treated with the same effectiveness as during an in-person visit. At the Isena Center, we believe in non-invasive Psychiatry and treatment does not necessarily have to include the use of medication. Our approach is bio-psycho-social and not necessarily pharmacological.

What will be done on the first visit?

The first consultation with the psychiatrist aims to carry out a thorough initial evaluation of the person. In this session, the psychiatrist collects information about the patient's medical history, current symptoms, family history, and previous treatments. You can ask detailed questions to better understand the discomfort, explore behavioral patterns, and establish possible triggers. Additionally, in order to complement the diagnosis, you may be asked to fill out a questionnaire or record. This will give you additional information to have a more concrete view of what is happening to you. Our doctor will evaluate your particular case to determine the need, or not, to add pharmacological support to your process. If necessary, your prescriptions will be issued normally through an online format, and you can pick them up at your nearest pharmacy. You will have frequent medical supervision tailored to your needs.
